What do you think of ASR carbon as a pure XC bike?

The ASR carbon makes an awesome XC race bike. It can also double as a trail weapon too. Light, stiff and efficient. Awesome. The ASR5 carbon that i rode in Alice Springs would also work well as an XC bike but its not a pure XC machine.
